Premium Basmati rice. Light, fluffy and aromatic.
The perfec rice for curries, biryanis and stir fries. This basmati rice is grown in the fertile upland terraces of the Himalayan foothills. The farmers use traditional methods, passed down through generations, to grow only the finest grains.
For best results soak the rice for 30 minutes prior to cooking and rinse thoroughly with at least 5 changes of fresh cold water.
1. Add 2 measures of water to 1 measure of rice in a large saucepan.
2. Cover saucepan with lid and bring to boil, reduce to a low heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes until the water is absorbed. Do not stir or peek under the lid.
3. Remove from heat and allow to stand for a few minutes whilst covered.
4. Transfer to a serving dish and gently separate the grains with a fork.
Once opened store in a cool, dry place, in a airtight container.
Use within 6 months of opening.
