Medium Curry Powder.
A blend of coriander, fenugreek, clove and other seasonings - perfect for making Rogan Josh. Alternatively, use to boost the flavour of other dishes.
Great for cooking with chicken, vegetables, prawns, lamb.
Recipe: Lamb Rogan Josh
1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan, add 2 cloves of crushed garlic, 1 tsp of chopped ginger, 2 chopped onions and fry for 15-20 minutes until soft and golden brown.
2. Add 4 tbsp of Sharwoods medium Curry Powder to coat the onion mix and fry for 1-2 minutes. Add 450g of cubed lean lamb and fry for a further 5 minutes.
3. Add 300ml of stock, 400g canned tomatoes, 1 tbsp of lemon juice, 1 tbsp of sugar and simmer for 45 minutes until meat is fully cooked the serve. Serve with rice and for the full- on Indian experience, Sharwoods flame-baked Naans and mango Chutney on the side.
