Hot Curry Powder.
A blend of coriander, fennel and chilli - perfect for making hot curries like Madras.
Recipe: Chicken Madras
1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan, add 2 cloves of crushed garlic, 2 tsp chopped ginger, 2 chopped onions and fry for 15-20 minutes until soft and golden brown.
2. Add 4 tbsp of Sharwood's Hot Curry Powder to coat the onion mix and fry for 1-2 minutes. Add 3 chicken breasts (diced) and fry for a further 10 minutes.
3. Add 2 cups of water, 3 tbsp tomato puree and simmer for 20 minutes until meat is fully cooked then serve. Serve with rice and for the full-on Indian experience, Sharwoods flame-baked Naans and Mango Chutney on the side.
