Kewra water, also known as Kevda water.
A clear essence that is extracted from screwpine flowers.
Use kewra to add fragrance to spiced rice dishes, such as pulaos or biriyanis, or use it to impart a special flavour to home-made lemonade or refreshing yoghurt lassi.
Suitable for vegetarians.
