Beef and Vegetable Condensed Soup.
Microwave (From Ambient): (Based on an 800W oven).
.- Empty the soup into a 1-1 1/2 litre microwaveable bowl and stir in one full can of cold water.
.- Cover and heat on full power for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes.
.- Leave to stand for 1 minute, then stir.
Hob (From Ambient):
.- Empty the soup into a saucepan and gradually add one full can of cold water, stirring constantly.
.- Heat to serving temperature, stirring frequently.
Recipe: Spaghetti Bolognese (serves 4 - 6)
. 1 can of Campbells Beef and Vegetable Condensed Soup
. 4 tbsp olive oil
. 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
. 400g minced beef, 2 chopped tomatoes
. 50ml red wine or water
. 150g sliced mushrooms
. 2 tbsp tomato puree
. 300g spaghetti
. grated parmesan cheese.
.- Heat olive oil in a large frying pan. Add garlic and beef and cook for 4 minutes stirring occasionally.
.- Stir in Campbell's Beef & Vegetable Condensed Soup, add tomatoes, red wine/water, mushrooms and tomato puree. Mix well and simmer for 15-20 minutes stirring occasionally.
.- 10 minutes before the Bolognese is cooked, cook pasta as per packet's instructions.
.- To serve, place drained pasta on plates, top with the Bolognese sauce and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
